Lights, Music, Madness, Magic - Odumodublvck’s Greatest School Tour

When Odumodublvck announced his school tour, we knew it was going to be huge, but what we got at Obafemi Awolowo University was beyond anyone’s imagination. The energy, the lights, the music, it felt like stepping into a different world for one unforgettable night.

From the moment you stepped into the venue, it was clear: this wasn’t just another concert. The stage glowed with a burst of bright colours, reds, blues, greens, shining like a rainbow against the night sky. The setup gave beach party vibes, with students lounging around, smiling, and taking pictures under the neon lights.

Honestly, the whole scene could have passed for a mini O2 Arena, it was that good.

And when the performances started? Oh boy.

First came Wizard Chan and the Ajebo Hustlers, who warmed up the crowd with their smooth vibes. But the moment Odumodublvck himself showed up, it was like somebody pressed a hidden switch. People lost it. Phones went flying up in the air, flashlights everywhere, everybody yelling like their life depended on it.

He gave us everything. Declan Rice hit hard. Blood on the Dancefloor had everybody jumping like the ground was on fire. He even gave us some songs from his new album, and I swear, nobody wanted him to leave the stage.

OAU students definitely understood the assignment.

Guys pulled up in baggy jeans, casual tees, cool sneakers, giving laid-back but stylish energy. Some went for simple looks, while others flexed their fits like they were walking a campus runway.

And the girls? Stars of the night.

There were queens in short skirts, fluffy hair, chokers and shiny lip gloss, floating across the venue like characters out of a music video.

At some point, you could almost believe OAU had secretly been cast for a fashion show, that’s how good everyone looked.

The whole night just felt unreal.

One moment you’re laughing with your friends, the next you’re screaming lyrics you didn’t even know you knew. Strangers were high-fiving. People were dancing in groups. Even those who came acting all "I’m just here to watch" couldn’t help it, by the third song, they were in the middle of the madness too.

And honestly, big shoutout to the people that made this happen. To the organizers, especially the Director of Socials, we see you! You pulled off something unforgettable, and we’re grateful. But (and it’s a big but), we’re already dreaming about the next big thing.

Maybe, just maybe, you could pull off another banger, like bringing REMA to campus? fingers crossed.

Odumodublvck felt the love.

We felt the magic.

It’s nights like this that remind you why they call it Great Ife.

If you missed it... omo, you really missed!
